Excellent food, prompt and polite serving staff. Beautiful location, just the place on a sunny summers day, for a quiet drink by the canal and something to eat. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely love the staff, food and the building itself. Popped in to see my parents as it was my daughter's birthday and was given the best surprise with an amazing birthday treat 🥰 it made my daughter's day. Thank you to the staff for making her feel special.
Just had the best Sunday roast in a long time. Lots of tender sliced beef, amazing. Huge Yorkshire and then the part that distinguishes an excellent from a good mediocre experience/ all veg freshly prepared, still vibrant colours and crunch. Non of your wet, been in a warming cupboard for hours mush. Sat outside on the patio and no problem being served there. Definitely be back.
Booked for 6 of us at lunchtime on a Sunday . Loved the new refurb looked great. Yvonne was especially helpful and demonstrated excellent customer service. Food did take a while to get to us but we were not disappointed when it arrived. Absolutely delicious and generous portions. The wait allowed us to have a drink and enjoy good conversation. We will be back 😃
Popped in yesterday for a meal with my girlfriend and our two dogs. Loved the fact it askes how many dogs with you on the website. Very friendly staff all super pleasant and helpful. Food was amazing I had the salt and pepper chicken burger with chunky chips. We had the moulton cheese and bread for starter. My other half had two starters instead of a main, mushroom bruschetta and salt and pepper chicken bites all were absolutely stunning and we had eton mess and sticky toffee brownie sundae also amazing would highly recommend we will be coming back again very soon.
Nice pub, friendly team and fellow customers. Live music on a Saturday night is always a bonus and was of a good level. Didn't have food but seemed good value.
My wife and I only recently discovered the farmers arms - and what a wonderful place and setting it is alongside the canal. We were greeted by very friendly staff and as it was our first visit, we were encouraged to take a look around this fine old building, along with the fabulously new conservatory extension - this is where we chose to have our 2 course lunch for just £14.99 per person. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Thank you so much, and we will be back again very soon.
